He did it!
He ran a marathon!
Words can't even describe how proud I am of him. He worked so hard and he accomplished his goal...to run a marathon!
Claire and I made the trip on Sunday morning to downtown St. Charles to be there to cheer him on. I parked at mile marker 12 and after about 10 minutes of sitting there Dan made the turn and he saw us. He looked great!
We walked around a bit and then Claire and I found a great spot under a tree near the finish line to hang out. We had a snacks and danced to the live band that was playing...she had a blast!
